Strawberries, when eaten with condensed milk, are delectable. The blend of flavors sticks to your tongue then plays wistfully on your taste buds (Learn how to grow strawberries). However, yummy as the snack is, its taste can get old after eating it for the entire day. Bring more excitement to your strawberry preparations by making tuxedo strawberries. The tasty treat combines the sweetness of strawberries with the rich flavor of milk and white chocolate.

Ingredients

tuxedo strawberriesWhen making tuxedo strawberries, picking ripe fruit is an essential factor. Being picky is the perfect characteristic for the snack.

  • 1 lb ripe strawberries
  • 6 oz white chocolate bits
  • 8 oz chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp flavorless oil (sets depend on the number of strawberry tuxedos you’re making)

Ripe strawberries possess the exact amount of sourness and sweetness to complement the flavor of chocolate. Young strawberries are a bit sour, which doesn’t agree with white chocolate. Overripe strawberries, on the other hand, can enhance milk chocolate’s sweetness too much, making the treat less appetizing than expected.

Materials Used

Mixing chocolates with strawberries is simple. However, you need a group of cooking instruments, to ensure the blend and to create the tuxedo designs.

  7. Once done, dip the strawberries’ sides and bottoms in the melted chocolate chips.
  8. Use a toothpick to shape the brown “overcoats” properly.
  9. Dip the toothpick in the chocolate chip solution then create a milk chocolate bow tie and the tuxedo buttons.
  10. Cut a sheet of wax paper and set it on a cookie sheet.
  11. Place the tuxedo strawberries on the wax paper. Let them chill in the refrigerator for a few hours or until the tuxedo designs harden.
  12. Serve.

Tuxedo strawberries are luscious snacks, but they make better dessert items. They go well with an elegant dinner, some fine wine, jazz music, and a candlelight affair. In truth, they add romance to any fabulous meal, so make sure your romantic partner tastes them one of these days.
