How To Make A Pretzel Nativity Scene Christmas Wreath
by jie Posted on December 21st, 2008You might be wondering right now, “Nativity scene using pretzels? Really?” and have that disbelieving look on your face, but it’s true. You can make a Nativity Scene Christmas wreath using pretzels. Curious? Here’s how.
What you’ll need:
- Pretzel wreath
- Ribbons
- Glue
- Miniature Nativity scene decoration
How You’ll Do It:
Step 1
Get your pretzel wreath. If you don’t know how to make one, just glue several pretzels together and form them into a circle. You’ll now have a nice pretzel wreath. Get a ribbon and just loop through the holes in the pretzel, crossing over the joints as you go. You want to weave the ribbon in and out of the wreath.

Step 2
Once you’ve gotten all the way around your wreath, take your glue gun and put a bead of hot glue to carefully secure the ribbon in place. Hold it until it’s cool. Do the same thing for the end of the ribbon on the other side.

Step 3
It’s now time to embellish the wreath. Get a miniature Nativity Scene decoration (if you can’t find one, you can use little packages of miniature figurines and make the scene using them). Put the ornaments on different areas of your wreath so it will have some sort of 3D effect. Use the glue gun to stick your ornaments on the wreath.

Step 4
Make the bow using the ribbons and just glue it on the bottom. To hang it, get another ribbon, make a loop, and then glue it at the back. You now have a Nativity Scene Christmas wreath made out of pretzels.

Just be sure not to put the wreath somewhere where insects, especially ants, have access to it. You may find yourself having a very antsy Christmas.
