How To Make Myspace Layouts
So you have a Myspace account, but you have no idea how to make layouts for it. Well, don’t worry. Here’s a simple guide to making a layout for your Myspace.
Materials Needed
- Myspace account
- Computer
- Photo-editing software, such as Photoshop; in this tutorial, Powerpoint
- Internet connection
Step by Step Procedure
Step 1
Fire up your browser of choice and then type in www.layoutgen.com. Hit enter.

Step 2
You will see a template. Every time you change something on the layout, it will reflect on the template so you’ll be able to see the changes that you did. Go up on the different options. Choose the simple mode for editing. Choose your background color as well as the other color options.

In order to choose your own background image, select ON on the “Choose a background image” option. You will see a field where you can basically enter the image’s URL.

If you already have an image that you want to use as a background, then save it somewhere where you can easily get it. You can opt to use Photoshop or other editing software to make changes to it. Make sure it is in a format that is readable on the Internet, usually .jpg or .gif. Go back to your browser and then host your background image to a web host, such as Photobucket or Imageshack.

Step 5
Take note of URL; you should see it once you’ve uploaded the image to your Photobucket account. Copy the URL. Go back to your Myspace layout and then paste the URL on the background field that requires it. Check the preview sample at the bottom and the image should be there as the layout now.

Step 6
Make changes on the other options for the Myspace layout generator. You can change your texts, text colors, and everything else. Once it’s done, copy down the generated code on the large field box you will see on the page.

Step 7
Go to your Myspace account. Go to Profile and put the code you copied to any of the fields you want. Save the changes and then check out your profile. It should be updated now.
