A cellular phone is not just a gadget used for communication, but is also a great way to express someone’s personality. Much can be said about a person, just by looking at his or her mobile phone and its features, a reason why many people now opt to customize and create their own cellular phone layouts. If you want to do the same to your phone, here’s what to do.

Step by Step Procedure

Step 1

You’ll need to have your Sony Ericson program, which can be downloaded on the net. Open your program and a screen will come up as pictured.

Step 2

Now you can choose to change the appearance of your screens. This is important to do before creating your layout. You must select the type of phone you have.

Step 3

Now you can start editing the standby screen. Change the text on the left side by pressing on the part you want to change and modify the color accordingly.

Step 4

You can also do the same to the background. Remember that if you change the soft key for the background color, you also change the colors for other things in the screen.

Step 5

If you want to change other things from the colors, you can go to standby, where you can change the image on the standby screen.

Step 6

To change the background, click on ‘background’ and do the same thing you did for the standby screen.

Step 7

Modify your phone to your liking. Practice makes perfect!
