Trendy people today, especially the hip kids, wear accessories like there’s no tomorrow. One of the most popular accessory choice, it seems, are bracelets and anklets. Bracelets aren’t for girls anymore. Now, even boys are getting in on the bracelet action, although anklets still seem to be girls’ territory. Now, you can make your own bracelet or anklet and personalize your fashion statement.

What you’ll need:

• Several pieces of colored yarn

How You’ll Do It:

Step 1

Pick one color (in this case, blue) and then wind it around the others so it makes a figure 4.

Step 2

Once you make a figure 4, you pull it, but make sure that it is right under the color before it.

Step 3

Pick the next color and then do the same procedure in step 2. Make sure to tighten it when you pull. Also, make sure that you make a knot at the beginning of the bracelet/anklet.

Step 4

Keep doing the braiding until it can fit your ankle or bracelet. Make another knot at the end.

Self-made bracelets and anklets also make for very nice and personal gifts to friends or families. Since they’re just easy to make, you shouldn’t have any problems procuring them at will, at all!
