Zip files are very useful for when you have to a lot of big files to send. You don’t have to be a computer expert to know how to make one. The steps are easy and require less than two minutes to make.

What you’ll need:

• Computer
• File zipping software (Winzip or WinRAR)

How You’ll Do It:

Step 1

Right-click on any place in your desktop. Click on “New”.

Step 2

There should be a list of new things you can create. Look for the option that allows you to create a new zip file and click it.

Step 3

Rename the new .zip file that you created with any filename that you want.

You now have your very own .zip file. To add files to that .zip file, just right-click on the file and then click “Add to zip”. Browse over to the .zip file and click “OK”. That file should then be added to the .zip file you created.
