How To Make A Wall-Climbing Vehicle
by jie Posted on November 27th, 2008If you’re a LittleBigPlanet fan, then you should know that a huge part of the game’s appeal is making your very own content and sharing it online. One of the more unique vehicles is a wall-climbing/jumping vehicle, and you can easily make it by following a few simple steps.
Materials Needed
- PlayStation 3 Console
- LittleBigPlanet video game
Step by Step Procedure
Step 1
Make the body of the vehicle. Use any basic material and just make a straight line.

Step 2
Make eight rockets, one for the upper set and one for the lower set. Place them on either side of the body. The rockets will enable your vehicle to push against the wall (making them climb it) or jump. In order to control it, put in two magnetic key switches. Attach them to the body and connect one to a rocket set. The key switches will react to the different switches in the level.

Step 3
To make the wheels, choose the rubber material. Make two big circles; make sure they’re bigger than the body. You’re also going to need bolts (the motor type). They will make the car move.

Step 4
Add a grab switch; they’re switches that, whenever you grab the material it’s on, it will make the switches move. Attach it to the motor switches.

Step 5
Adjust the radius on the switches. Preferably, the radius should be around the size of the vehicle itself. You will also need to adjust the stretch of the rockets and the motors. It will depend on your preference.

You can test out the vehicle by putting the corresponding switches on the ground and on the walls. Once you’re done, share it online and have fun.
