What You’ll Need:

  • Just a rectangular piece of paper

How You’ll Do It:

Step 1

Fold it in half, and fold it again to make creases. Open it again.

Step 2

While it’s open, make a triangle by folding the two diagonals. Fold the remaining piece (the one that is not included in the triangle) up like in the picture, and open it up. You will end up with a square shape.

Step 3

Fold it into a pyramid on both sides. Open it up into a diamond shape, and open it up again into a boat-shaped object. Gently hold the triangular sail while opening the boat’s sides. You will end up with a trapezoidal shape.

Step 4

Fold it on both sides until you end up with something similar to what’s pictured. Flip-fold it on the bottom 3 times, and repeat it on the other side. You end up with something like a boat with a hidden sail. Open that up on all sides and you’ll have a box!
