How to make a Holiday Wreath
by howtomakestuff Posted on November 27th, 2008
What you’ll need:
- Artificial or fresh evergreen wreath
- Pinecones
- Apples
- Floral wire
- Decorative ribbon
How you’ll do it:
Step 1
Add pinecones and apples to the wreath. You’ll need a wire. To do this, take your pinecone and find an open space in it, twist your wire around, leaving two tails out both sides of the pinecone. Hold the two tails together and twist them. You can now put the pinecone anywhere you want them. Do the same with the apple. Add them to your wreath.

Step 2
After that, you can take a yard section of ribbon, and pinch it together. Wrap the bristle around it to hold it in place. Go down about 6-8 inches and wrap the bristle around. Do that for as long as you need. You can also chevron your ribbon, which makes it attractive.
