Kids Party Invitations

When making the invitation, you should keep in mind the theme of the celebration. The designs, borders and even the font used for the invitation must match the theme. Making a Kids Birthday Invitation

Procedure:

Think about the theme of your child’s celebration.

Browse the Internet for possible designs that suit the party’s theme. Go to a reputable search engine then key-in the theme. Thousands of websites that offer suitable pictures will appear.

Right-click on your chosen picture and click “save image.”

Open a new document in your word processor.

Click Format then hit Page.

Click the Page Tab then mark the circle beside landscape. Click OK.

Click on Insert - Picture - From File. Select the picture that you saved awhile ago, then click OK.

Adjust the image’s size by dragging its edges using your mouse.

If you want a border, follow step seven and select from the default borders on your computer. You can also download a customized border from the Internet if you want.

Refer to the “General Elements of a Birthday Celebration” (above) for the invitation’s format.

Open a new document and select the envelope template.

Type the name of the recipient on the area provided by the template.

Print the invitation and the envelope according to the number of families invited.

Easier Alternative

A good alternative is to print ready-made invitations on the Intenet. The selection may be limited, but it will save you valuable time and effort.

Procedure:

Just search for the websites that offer invitation outlines using a search engine.

Select the best outline among the bunch and print it according to the number of guests invited.

Fill in the information presented in each invitation.

Purchase envelopes.

Write the names of the invited kids or families on the front of each envelope.

Adult Birthday Invitations

Adult invitations are normally more plain than their kiddie counterparts. They can come as formal invites, e-mail, or mobile phone messages. The only real messages conveyed by such invitations are the location, theme, date and time, attire, and a map. The rest is entirely up to your creativity. You can even inform your guests about your celebration through “word-of-mouth” passing of information, if you are not really in the mood to make an invitation.

Instead of creating debut invitations, the parents of the debutant simply choose among the designs presented to them by the debut planner or professional invitation maker. They can also customize the contents, designs, patterns, and the scent of the invites. The information about the celebration and the guests is simply relayed to the invitation maker.

The marked items ( * ) are interchangeable with other items such as gifts, shots of alcohol or any form chosen by the debutant. The order of these of those ceremonies can also differ depending on the theme of the debut.

The invite is an important element of a birthday party. Make sure that all the copies are identical and well-created. Remember, a guest can readily judge your celebration by simply looking at his or her invitation. You might as well make a good impression starting with the invites.
