Materials:
• Lampshade, white (paper if possible, no pleats) 4″ top, 10″ bottom, 7″ height
• Yellow Paint - or whatever color you choose
• Decorative ribbon, 3/8″ thick - 2 yards
• Funky Film Emerald Green- 2 sheets
• Funky Film Silver Sequins - 1 sheet
• Funky Film Royal Blue - 2 sheets
• Funky Film Gold Flake - 1 sheet
• Hole Punch
• Paint Brush
• Scissors
• Pen
Instructions:
1. Paint outside of lampshade, leaving top and bottom trim white.
2. When lampshade is dry using hole punch, punch holes approximately 3-1/2″ apart (you can vary this depending on how many flowers you want).
3. Cut out the flower diagram and use as flower templet to trace on the back side of Royal Blue and Emerald Green films (you should have approximately 4 flowers on each sheet).
4. Cut all flowers, remove backing and adhere the adhesive side of a blue flower to adhesive side of a green flower, trim any excess material.
5. Draw circles approximately 3/4″ in diameter on the back of Silver Sequins and Gold Flake films.
6. Cut out circles, remove backing and adhere gold circles to the green side of flowers and silver circles to the blue side of flowers.
7. Using hole punch, punch a hole at the top of one petal on each flower.
8. Cut ribbon in 5″ lengths.
9. Thread ribbon through hole in flower then through hole in lampshade, tying so that the knot is not visible from the front side of the lampshade.
10. Place lampshade on base and your done!
